We are seeking a Legal Clerk to join and support our legal team with administrative and case-related tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, eager to grow in the legal field and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and organizing legal documents and case files.
- File court documents electronically (E-Filing) and maintain case records.
- Draft basic legal forms, motions, affidavits, and correspondence Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely filings.
- Liaise with court clerks, clients, and external parties regarding case status.
- Manage and update client information in case management software.
- Handle scheduling, calendaring, and other administrative support tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in a legal support role (not required but preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
