Food Industry Company is looking for a SR SUPPLY MANAGER
Main Objective:
Manage the execution of key activities for strategic sourcing and coordinate the necessary actions in order to correct deviations of the main indicators of the area, in conjunction with the supply specialists.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Business, Foreign Trade, Chemistry/Biology or related.
-Experience: at least 8 years in strategic purchasing and supply of meat products.
-Experience in negotiation with national and international suppliers.
-Knowledge in traceability, quality and food industry certifications.
-Management of supply contracts and import/export logistics.
-Relationship with suppliers in the livestock sector, slaughterhouses, meat packing plants, etc.
-Advanced English (international negotiations).
-ERP, SAP and data analysis tools.
-Availability to travel 20% (National or International).
Responsibilities:
-Detection and follow-up of sanitary risks, tariff, commercial risks and emergency situations of the meat markets supplying and new opportunities.
-Market research for analysis.
-Coordination of internal areas for the execution of defined strategies in terms of supply, cost, quality, strategic inventories.
-Development of key indicators of the area.
-Supplier´s link for projects follow up.
