CAD/Revit Drafter

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled CAD/Revit Drafter to join our engineering team. In this role, you will create technical drawings and models under the guidance of our engineers, helping to translate concepts into detailed documentation for electrical construction, EV installations, and low voltage projects. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills in Revit and related software, with the ability to consistently meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and update detailed electrical drawings and models using Revit and AutoCAD software
• Work collaboratively with engineers to understand project requirements and implement their design intent
• Produce accurate construction documents including electrical plans, power distribution layouts, and circuit diagrams
• Maintain organized drawing files according to company standards
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with electrical codes and project specifications
• Coordinate with team members to ensure consistency across project documentation
• Prioritize tasks effectively to meet or exceed project deadlines
• Assist in troubleshooting design conflicts within BIM models
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard electrical details and templates
• Stay current with software updates and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD with demonstrable experience creating electrical construction documents
• Strong working knowledge of Bluebeam for PDF markup, review, and collaboration
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) principles and applications for electrical systems
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar electrical drafting role
• Ability to interpret engineering instructions and translate them into accurate technical drawings
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with engineering staff
• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
• Problem-solving abilities to address design conflicts and technical issues

Competitive Salary

Shift Schedule: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST Monday to Friday
